On 15 August 2025, Bahosi Fertility Centre (BFC), proudly celebrated its 19th Anniversary at our centre, located 31-36, Bogyoke Aung San Rd, 6th Floor, Bahosi Housing Complex, Lanmadaw, Yangon 11131, Myanmar.
The celebration was filled with joy as we welcomed invited guests, expectant mothers supported by Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), and children who were born with BFC’s care, along with their families. It was a heartwarming occasion that highlighted our ongoing commitment to supporting families on their fertility journey.
Since 2006, BFC has been Myanmar’s first dedicated IVF centre, pioneering advanced reproductive technologies. Over the years, the center has achieved remarkable milestones:

- 1st In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) centre in Myanmar – 15 August 2006
- 1st IVF pregnancy in Myanmar – 3 January 2007
- 1st IVF baby born in Myanmar – 26 August 2007
- 1st Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) baby born in Myanmar – July 2008
- 1st Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) baby born in Myanmar – September 2008
- 1st Testicular Sperm Extraction (TESE) baby born in Myanmar – December 2008
- 1st Blastocyst transfer baby born in Myanmar – May 2010
From 2006 to 2025, BFC has successfully helped over 700 babies born using Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and IVF techniques, bringing hope and happiness to families throughout Myanmar.
